Things to Think About 084

"Humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less." C.S. Lewis

In my work as a coach, the topic of humility—the lack of humility—is a recurring theme I am asked to address. Unfortunately, to many, humility is wrongly seen as a sign of weakness or inferiority. In my experience, it is the people with the highest levels of confidence who are truly humble. They have nothing to prove and no need to sing their own praise. Why? Well, one reason is because others are eager and willing to do it for them. Insecurity and incompetence are two of the drivers of rude, boorish, self-centered behavior.

Good luck on your journey.
