Things to Think About

“The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary.” Anonymous

The first time I heard this wonderful maxim, I was a young salesman and my boss was trying to impress upon me the importance of discipline and structure in how you approached things. Another thing he used to say was, “Plan your work and work your plan.” Good advice, indeed, that I have tried to follow all my life. Maybe it’s the farm boy in me, but I do like quotes that have a down-to-earth ring of truth to them. And, like all really good quotes, they stand the test of time and just get better with age. This little gem is certainly one of those that remind us, in common-sense language, of what we know we have to do.

Good luck on your journey!
