Things to Think About

“I would argue that more leaders have been made by accident, circumstance, sheer grit, or will than have been made by all the leadership courses put together.”  Warren Bennis

Warren Bennis devoted his life to studying leadership and was clearly a driving force in the common-sense understanding of what makes a leader.  Never one to shy away from controversy, Bennis had a deep belief, as do I, that leaders are made by themselves more than any other outside influence.  Let me put it another way: It’s not what you know, it’s how you choose to use what you know that makes all the difference in the world when it comes to leadership development.

Good luck on your journey!
