Things to Think About

Fact: Over 40% of the companies that were at the top of the Fortune 500 in 2000 were no longer there in 2010

For some reason, this statistic never ceases to amaze me, because of what it says about the consequences of failing to adapt to changing circumstances. Today, more than ever, leaders need to embrace, not be intimidated by, creative destruction and market disruption.  The future belongs to leaders who realize that past performance is just that—past—and that they are in a state of constant flux where agility, curiosity, engagement, and listening skills are the new roadmap to sustainable success.

Good luck on your journey!
