Things to Think About

“A foolish faith in authority is the worst enemy of the truth.”  Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was a complex person emotionally and socially, as we learned in the excellent biography by Walter Isaacson.  Among his many positive traits, however, was his ability to distill common-sense wisdom in an unforgettable way, as this quote demonstrates. This is a man who observed the slow, almost imperceptible events which led to some of the most horrific events of the 20th century, many of which can be traced back to the wisdom of this quote.  Think about for a minute and reflect on how this might also apply to our lives today, not only in the political sector, but in the world of competent leadership (and followership), in general.

Good luck on your journey!
