Things to Think About 064

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover." Mark Twain

There have been many, many studies done over the years in which older people—people 70 years and older—were asked about the things they regretted in life. Overwhelmingly, the top thing people regretted was that they didn’t take a chance. They didn’t regret failing at something, they regretted not trying something that they knew they should have done, but couldn’t find the courage to do it at the time. A fulfilled life is about leaving that safe harbor at times and experiencing the open sea. It’s a wonderful way to discover yourself and what wonderful things you’re capable of doing. There is no like the present to begin your journey.

Till next time…
