The folk-wisdom of Mark Twain always brings a smile to my face because, most of the time, it reminds me of myself. Someone once estimated that more than 85% of what we spend time worrying about never happens. Those are pretty incredible odds—to allow things that have an 85% chance of never happening occupy so much of our time and energy.
