Tomáš Šabatka

Tomáš is the former Executive Vice President of Myllykoski Corporation, one of the world’s largest publication paper producers and the global gold-standard in coated and uncoated papers for publishers, printers, and retailers. He is the former Chairman of RPG Industries, Vice President of Mondi Packaging, and CEO Sepap, AssiDoman, Frantschach Pulp&Paper  (now Mondi Štětí). He has extensive leadership experience in CEE Europe and South Africa and has successfully addressed numerous business cycle challenges ranging from restructurings, merger integrations and turnarounds to pre-IPO positioning and sale. Today Tomas is widely considered to be one of the most accomplished corporate executives globally of Czech nationality. He is the former Vice President of the Confederation of Industry and Transport, Vice President of the Czech Institute of Directors and the President of the Czech Pulp and Paper Industry Association. Tomas’s mastery of The Human Element of Leadership™ is well-known and has become an integral part of his life’s philosophy. He is a graduate of Technical College Mladá Boleslav and Czech Technical University Faculty of Engineering.
