Stacy Meyer
Stacy Meyer is a highly accomplished health care professional with more than 21 years of experience with Johnson & Johnson's medical divisions.
Stacy is currently Vice President, Global Operations & Partnerships of the Global Public Health division.
her present role, she was General Manager of Medical Devices in South Africa, General Manager for the ETHICON & DePuy Synthes business units in Poland & Baltics, General Manager for the Global Surgery business units for Czech Republic and Slovakia following her role as Marketing Director for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). She arrived in Prague in mid-2012 to manage the merger of sales training and marketing activities of the three divisions across CEE. During this assignment she was recognized for initiating and organizing a campaign to support "Operation Smile" and was selected to represent J&J at the medical mission in Kenya.
During her career at Johnson & Johnson she has held eleven different positions including General Management, Sales, Marketing, National Account Management, and Training. Throughout her employment she has been honored with numerous awards for achievement, leadership and vast knowledge of the Medical industry. She was chosen as an expert representative from the U.S. to help launch VICRYL Plus (A portfolio of antibacterial sutures) in Tokyo and Sapporo Japan.
Her early career included sales positions at Automated Data Processing in Chicago and teaching English as a second language (K-6) in Wichita Falls, Texas. Stacy holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education and Spanish from Ball State University in Muncie, IN. She also graduated from Rutgers University Executive Leadership program in New Brunswick, NJ. She is a faculty member of the Prague Leadership Institute and board member of SAMED, a medical device trade association in South Africa.
Stacy's extensive travel throughout the world for business and pleasure has given her many opportunities to foster her hobbies and interests. She is an avid photographer and has completed training expeditions by National Geographic in Mexico, Morocco, Mongolia, Bhutan and India. She especially loves to photograph native people and has done so in interesting locations like Northern Thailand, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Botswana, Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda. She is proficient in Spanish and Sign Language both of which she hopes to use in the future. She has spent a lot of time in Chicago working with therapy dogs helping repair the lives of victims of gang violence. Stacy is a certified Scuba Diver, has completed a 26.2-mile marathon in Alaska for Leukemia and a 60-mile walk in Atlanta to raise money for Breast Cancer.
Her career spanning Europe, Africa and the United States combined with her extensive travel have given her strong cross-cultural understanding, and whether the goals are to improve personal or business relationships and results, she's always ready. She is well recognized as a visionary, driven and self-motivated with a dynamic and authentic coaching style that creates trust, motivates, and moves people toward positive change and tangible results.
