David Ferguson

C. David Ferguson is the former Chairman and CEO of Gould Electronics, Inc. His management experience includes: marketing, sales, operations, engineering, quality and finance in the automobile, electrical, fiber optics, battery, electronics and semi-conductor industries.

David has more than 40 years of International experience. In the International field, he has successfully completed contracts in sales, joint asset ventures, joint ventures, long-term supplier agreements and has successfully developed off-shore contract manufactures.

A few of his major clients include RaznoImports of Russia, Sony, Matsushita Electric, Hitachi, Japan Energy, NanYa Plastics, IBM, General Electric, Varta, Park Electrochemical, Cookson and Veba Group.

David is currently the CEO, director and part owner of IER-Fujikura, Inc., a manufacturer of automobile parts. He has served on the Boards of Encore Computer, Inc., AM International Inc. and Gould Electronics, Inc. He is the past Chairman of the Board of Marietta College where he also holds an Honorary Doctor of Law Degree. He is a past member of the Board of The American Heart Association and The National Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America and formerly served on the Board of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Foundation. He recently has received an Outstanding Leadership Award from the Foundation. He has been a guest speaker at The Case Western Reserve University Business School, Cleveland State University Business School and Marietta College.

David holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Economics and has completed additional courses at Ohio University and Cleveland State University.
