Inaugural Oxford-style Debate

February 15th was the date of the first PLI University Team Debate Series. The inaugural debate was chaired by former Oxford Debate Captain, Dominic Brisby, who is currently President-Europe, Africa, and Australasia at Imperial Tobacco. The two teams, Anglo American University and University of New York in Prague, debated the motion, “Religion has a negative relationship with peace”, in front of a standing-room-only audience of 100, which saw the AAU team win by audience vote.
