Understanding this simple quote can do wonders for raising the level of one’s self-awareness. Contemplating it cannot only shift a perspective, but it can reveal a self-limiting bias. Our opinions send strong messages about who we really are to those with whom we interact and many times they are not the messages one intended, or wanted, to send. So, the next time you’re ready to voice an opinion about someone, or something, you might find reflecting on these words to be time well spent.
