CZECH REPUBLIC: The Shape We’re In

Aspen Institute Prague and Forbes invite you to the annual conference Czech Republic: The Shape We're In. The event will take place on October 20, 2015 at Jatka 78.

The aim of the conference is to create a complex overview of the Czech Republic's performance in three key areas: (1) Competitiveness, (2) National Security, and (3) Quality of Life. Three respective studies are now being prepared in working groups lead by Oldřich Bajer and Tomáš Víšek (Competitiveness), Tomáš Pojar (National Security), and Michael Žantovský (Quality of Life).

The studies will be presented during the conference attended by their authors, representatives of the government including Deputy Prime Minister for Science, Research and Innovation Pavel Bělobrádek; entrepreneur Martin Wichterle; diplomat Jiří Šedivý; founder and Chairwoman of the Board of the foundation Krása pomoci Taťána Kuchařová; Chairman of the Czech Olympic Committee Jiří Kejval; and many others. The conference will be moderated by the editor in chief of Forbes Petr Šimůnek.
